I have a 2000 plate Vauxhall Vectra and the rear passenger door is stuck shut, all the other doors open and the central locking works but the deadlock will not release on this door! any ideas how i can release the deadlock?|||there are no dead locks on the rear doors.what has happened is one part of the door lock mechanism has stuck in the middle ,neither on or off .spray with wd40 beside the glass towards catch, reset handles, lock ,unlock repeat until free.|||Unlikely to be deadlock but you may have to remove the door trim panel inside to get to mechanism and release it manually, take trim off and get someone to pull outside handle and see whats happening.
If a car had deadlocking it deadlocks all doors, there would be no point in just deadlocking front doors as theives would just break back window, open door and climb through.
