Is it possible to change a steering rack arm on a vauxhall astra hatchback?

the steering rack arm on a vauxhall astra is bent like a banana and the front Passenger tyre is shredded. is it possible to just change the arm? or does the whole steering rack need to be replaced? the vehicle is a 1.4ltr manual 55 reg vauxhall astra 5dr hatchback.|||If you mean the rod that comes out of the rack (track rod)and connected to the track rod end.

If that is bent as you say, either something else has broken to cause it or you hit something or a kerb and you will find something else is also bent. This could be the lower wishbone, lower steering joint or the A/R bar.

The inner end of the track rod is fitted to the rack and is not replaceable|||the whole rack will need replacing
