Why wont my vauxhall corsa start?

I have a 2006 vauxhall corsa sxi, I stopped the car last night and since then have been unable to start it. The engine is turning over when I turn the ignition key but it will not start. There are no abnormal indication lights on the instrument panel. Any ideas what the problem with starting could be.|||As the other contributors have mentioned..

1. Check for fuel delivery, turn the ignition on and make sure you're getting fuel right up to the injectors.

2. Check for spark. If it's petrol then pull a spark plug lead out %26amp; rest it on the rocker cover of your engine and stand back so to not get shocked by the voltage, now have someone turn the engine over to check for good spark. You must try this across all banks.

3. If it's a diesel and you're not getting diesel to the front then it could be an immobiliser problem. We fix so many ECU's on Vauxhalls with similar problems (Astra's, Corsa's and Vectra's) all with very similar faults. An auto-electrician will know how to bypass the immobiliser temporarily to confirm this issue.

4. Check the compression of the engine - in fact as stated previously this should be done before looking at electrical problems.

5. It could most definitely be an ECU fault so if it is diagnosed as an ECU fault then call us first before spending 拢400-600 on a new unit + programming. We can repair your original unit and return it to you with 1yrs warranty and it won't have to be reprogrammed because we won't disrupt the original code. If we have to, we'll remove the immobiliser from as well.

first check you have fuel, sometimes tea leafs drill a hole in your tank and nick your petrol,

secondly check your fuses, usually under paasengers side of dash board.

thirdly it could be the ignition card,|||Hi there. My megane started doing this, and I took it to the garage, the internal computer had a warning come up... it MIGHT be that it wants to go to a garage!|||Well mate check for spark first. Then fuel delivery and lastly compression if none of the previous turn up a fault. Good hunting.|||Could be a multitude of things. Electrical, have you got enough petrol?
